We proposed a review of wastewater treatment to the person in charge at automotive parts manufacturers, painting factories, and electrodeposition painting lines that have wastewater treatment facilities. We received inquiries about wanting to improve the water quality of treated water, which sometimes exceeds the standard values. Upon inspecting the site, we found that multiple equipment-related issues were overlapping. We simultaneously proposed and implemented three points: updating the dewatering machine, relocating the piping in the aisle, and installing a new diffuser along with updating the blower piping. As a result, the water quality stabilized, there were no longer any exceedances of the standard values, dewatering treatment kept pace, and the accumulation of sludge was resolved.
